Terms
Last updated: 12 October 2026
Who these terms are between
These terms are between you and Fabrizio Salis, who runs Polpo. By creating an account, buying or using Polpo software or this site, you accept them.
Seller and licensor: Fabrizio Salis, Italy, VAT no. IT12636170016, support@polpo-tools.com. Payments are collected by Paddle, which acts as the reseller (merchant of record) and issues your invoice.
Your account
You are responsible for the account you sign in with and for keeping your license key private. Give accurate details, and tell me if you think someone else has used your account.
Buying
Payments are handled by Paddle, the seller of record. Paddle's terms apply to the payment, the invoice and VAT, and refunds follow the rules shown at checkout and the consumer rights that apply to you. A PolpoSign license is a one-time purchase for the number of seats you bought.
Using the software
The software is licensed to you, not sold, under the license agreement shown when you first run it. You may not copy, resell or share your license key beyond the seats you bought, nor try to bypass licensing.
Your documents
PolpoSign works on your computer, and you stay responsible for the documents you open, sign and share, and for deciding whether an electronic signature is valid for your purpose. PolpoSign makes simple electronic signatures; it is not a qualified or advanced signature service.
No guarantee, and limits
I work to make Polpo reliable, but the software and the site are provided as they are. As far as the law allows, I am not liable for indirect losses or for data you lose, and my total liability for anything related to a purchase is limited to the price you paid. Nothing here limits rights you have by law as a consumer.
Changes and law
I may update these terms and the date above will change; changes do not affect what you already bought. Italian law applies, without removing the protection of the consumer law of your country of residence.
